This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your access to and use of the SpaceRouter services (the "Services") and forms part of the SpaceRouter Terms of Service (the "Terms").
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
This AUP defines prohibited uses of the Services and establishes rules designed to:
- protect the integrity, security, and availability of the Services
- prevent unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity
- ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
You may not use the Services, directly or indirectly, to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, or governmental order
- engage in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation
- facilitate criminal activity
- access, scrape, crawl, or collect data without authorization
- bypass or circumvent access controls, safeguards, or rate limits
- exploit vulnerabilities or security weaknesses
- conduct denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks
- distribute malware, ransomware, or malicious code
- engage in phishing, spam, or unsolicited communications
- infringe intellectual property rights
- violate privacy or data protection rights
- engage in harassment, surveillance, or stalking
- violate third-party terms of service
- misrepresent identity or origin of traffic
- engage in deceptive or manipulative activity
You may not use the Services to transmit or facilitate:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- content involving exploitation of minors
- any content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of any affected party
- evade sanctions or export control restrictions
- engage in prohibited financial or crypto-related activity
- use the Services in restricted jurisdictions
We may take action where we reasonably determine that use of the Services violates this AUP or poses legal, regulatory, or security risks.
Such actions may include:
- restricting or suspending access
- terminating accounts
- blocking traffic or activity
- reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required
We are not obligated to provide advance notice in cases of serious violations.
We have no general obligation to monitor user activity or content transmitted through the Services.
Any monitoring that may occur is limited, proportionate, and conducted for:
- network integrity
- security and abuse prevention
- legal compliance
You are solely responsible for your use of the Services.
You acknowledge that:
- you control how the Services are used
- you are responsible for compliance with applicable laws
- SpaceRouter does not control or direct your activity
Additional restrictions apply to certain Services, including SpaceRouter Onion.
This Section applies specifically to SpaceRouter Onion ("Onion Service").
You may not use the Onion Service to:
- conceal or facilitate illegal activity
- evade law enforcement or regulatory oversight
- conduct illicit financial activity
- bypass sanctions or jurisdictional restrictions
You may not use the Onion Service:
- to deliberately hide unlawful conduct
- to obscure identity for fraudulent purposes
- to exploit anonymization for abusive or harmful activity
You may not use the Onion Service in any jurisdiction where:
- anonymization tools or proxy networks are restricted or unlawful
- such use would violate applicable law
We may restrict or block access based on jurisdiction.
If you operate a relay node, you may not:
- intentionally facilitate prohibited activity
- manipulate routing to enable abuse
- interfere with network integrity
We may investigate credible reports of abuse and take appropriate action. Users and third parties may report suspected violations to: router.support@spacenetwork.com
SpaceRouter does not guarantee the prevention of misuse of the Onion Service. Users acknowledge that:
- anonymization systems may be subject to abuse
- prevention of all misuse is not technically feasible
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in accordance with the Terms. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
