These SpaceRouter Onion Product-Specific Terms ("Onion Terms") apply to your access to and use of the SpaceRouter Onion service (the "Onion Service") and form part of the SpaceRouter Terms of Service (the "Master Terms"). Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings given in the Master Terms.
The Onion Service is a privacy-oriented routing layer that transmits user traffic through multiple independent relay nodes using layered encryption techniques.
The design of the Onion Service is intended to reduce the ability of any single participant to observe complete communication paths or metadata.
SpaceRouter does not control, direct, or determine:
- (a) the origin, destination, or routing path of traffic;
- (b) the identity of participants; or
- (c) the content of communications.
Routing decisions are performed automatically based on system design and network conditions.
The Onion Service is designed to minimize data collection.
SpaceRouter does not routinely monitor, inspect, decrypt, or analyze the content of communications transmitted through the Onion Service.
We may collect limited technical metadata where necessary for:
- (a) network integrity;
- (b) security and abuse prevention; or
- (c) legal compliance.
The Onion Service is intended to enhance privacy but does not guarantee anonymity.
You acknowledge that:
- (a) anonymization techniques may be subject to limitations;
- (b) third parties may attempt to analyze or infer traffic patterns; and
- (c) absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed.
Due to the design of the Onion Service, SpaceRouter may not retain logs capable of identifying specific user activity or reconstructing traffic flows.
You acknowledge that:
- (a) SpaceRouter may not be able to identify users or associate activity with specific individuals; and
- (b) SpaceRouter's ability to respond to legal requests may be limited by the technical design of the Onion Service.
Nothing in this section limits SpaceRouter's obligation to comply with applicable law.
You may not use the Onion Service in any jurisdiction where:
- (a) anonymization tools, encryption services, or proxy networks are restricted or unlawful; or
- (b) such use would violate applicable laws or regulations.
We reserve the right to restrict access based on jurisdiction.
You may not use the Onion Service to:
- (a) engage in unlawful activity;
- (b) evade legal obligations, sanctions, or regulatory requirements;
- (c) transmit or facilitate harmful, fraudulent, or prohibited content; or
- (d) conceal illegal conduct.
You are solely responsible for your use of the Onion Service and any activity conducted through the network.
If you operate a relay node, you acknowledge that:
- (a) your system may transmit traffic on behalf of third parties;
- (b) your IP address or infrastructure may be associated with such traffic; and
- (c) third parties, including law enforcement, may attribute such traffic to you.
You assume all risks associated with operating a relay node.
SpaceRouter does not guarantee the prevention of unauthorized, unlawful, or abusive use of the Onion Service.
